My favorite type of photography is without a doubt Landscape photography. However, I do event and portrait photography as well.

In my photography I attempt to make the viewer feel as though they are actually there. A few years ago my wife suffered a massive stroke and is now totally disabled. Before her stroke we would go hiking often, however, now she
is not able to hike to many of the places we once hiked together. Through photography I can take her there. in the photographs above I took her to a rocky shoreline on Oahu, to a beach watching a surfing event on Kauai and in a second ballon floating into Glacier Bay National Park in Alaska.

I am currently working on several projects that I expect to take about several years two complete. One is to photograph all the waterfalls of Michigan and put them together in book form with travel instructions on how to get to each location. The second is to do the same with the lighthouses of Michigan. Be looking for them to be available late summer 2013.
